Installing Mac OS X 10.5 on a 17-inch iMac G5

The old iMac G5 required reformatting hence I tried to do so. Unfortunately the Dual-layer DVD doesn't work on it hence I had to search high and low for an alternative. Thankfully the steps on this site saved the day. Only change in the command is from devalias ud /ht/pci@2/usb@b/disk@2 to devalias ud /ht/pci@2/usb@b,1/disk@1 as listed on the iMac.
Anyway, with a brand new installation of Mac OS X 10.5 this old little thing should bring plenty of joy to my 3 nieces.
