Impulse Trip

Decided 2 days ago to follow Ray, my friends brother down to France. Gabrielle, a French girl I met only last Friday through Hehn who met her days earlier in the badminton competition in London offered to provide accommodation and bring us around Paris, then back to her hometown in Poitier then Nantes and La Rochelle.
Now on coach with Ray on an 8 hour journey across the channel via Dover.
Today has been an interesting day. Met 2 people in uni randomly and had a good chat. Managed to secure an accommodation in Langley near my workplace, and met my future colleague whom remembers my name! Seems they have been anticipating my arrival. Good stuff.
Had dinner with Ray at Wong Keith. Ordered the usual duck, char siew, siew yok on rice.
Didn't know we had to check in an hour before departure when we arrived at Victoria. Thank goodness they still checked us in 10 minutes prior. Will attempt some shut-eye.
Paris here I come!
