For 23 years I have claimed to hate durian (The king of fruits.) even though I have never really tried it before. So yesterday I was in Chinatown and I saw some durians being sold. So being the Malaysian that I was, I wanted to share our awesome food culture with my fellow housemates so I bought a box home even with the fact that I hate it.
So this afternoon I offered some to Mike my chinese housemate who loves it and decided to try some myself. All I can say is that for the past 23 years I have been rejecting awesome, fresh, Malaysian durians coz they stink, and it took me having to buy crummy, overpriced, Thai durians sitting out in the sun in some plastic box before being carried all over London and Southampton in a rather warm weather so they aren't exactly fresh anymore for me to realize what I have been missing out the past 23 years: DURIANS TASTES FREAKING AWESOME ZOMG!

Lol what
回复删除Though, Durians from different places might taste different (the ones from Penang are awesome if you know where to look for them)
